Triangle kinesiology courses (or "the School") respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent with you about how we handle personal information.

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which kinesiology-courses.com (or "the Site") collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "Student") of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School on the Site.


Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter or blog, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

Personal Information from your use of our Site:

We automatically collect certain information from your interactions with our Site.

  1. Usage Data. Site logs usage information when you visit and use our Site. This information may include IP address, browser type, operating system, and other information about the use of our Site, such as the pages you viewed, when you viewed them, and links that were clicked.
  2. Cookies and Similar Technology. The Site may collect information about you through the use of cookies and other similar technologies. Cookies are pieces of data in the form of text files that your browser stores on your hard drive and sends back to us when making requests, and similar technologies. How We Use Personal Information We Collect

Personal Information you give us (or that we receive from others): We collect personal information you directly provide to us. We may also receive personal information about you from others; e.g. from another user or our payment processors.

  • Account Information. To use certain features of the Site (such as to create a course or to enroll in a course), you’ll need to register for an account with Teachable. To do so, you’ll need to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, email address, and password.
  • Student Payment Information. To purchase a course, Coaching, or other service through our Site, you’ll need to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, address, and information about the service you are purchasing. You may also need to provide certain payment-related information directly to our third party payment processors, as described below.
  • Third Party Payment Processors. We use third party payment processors like PayPal and Stripe to process payments through the Site. For security purposes, the Site does not collect or receive any sensitive payment information, such as your complete card number or authentication data. Our third-party payment processors are independent from the School and have their own privacy processes. For additional information about how your payment information is processed and stored, we recommend that you review the applicable payment processor's Privacy Policy.
  • Participation in Author Content. When you enroll in a course, Coaching service, or other Author Content, the Site will collect personal information relating to your participation in the Author Content, such as courses enrolled in, quiz results, lecture progress and certifications.
  • Third Party Integrations. The Site could be interact with third party services (such as Facebook and Zoom). The information you allow the Site to access varies by service, and it is affected by the privacy settings you and those that you are connected with establish while using such services. Third-party services are operated, controlled, and maintained by third parties not operated, controlled, or maintained by the Site. We recommend that you read the terms of use and privacy policies of those third party services to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information with us or other third parties.
  • Other Personal Information. You may choose to provide us with other personal information. For example, we may collect your name, email address and other personal information when you fill out a survey, participate in a School-sponsored contest or promotion, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.

How we use collected information.

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize user experience
    We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.
  • To send periodic emails
    We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.
  • For advertising and marketing communications.
    We may use personal information to develop targeted advertising both on and off our Site about School Services, and to communicate with you about our products, services, offers and promotions, including making recommendations about School Services you may be interested in.
  • For research and service development.
    We may use personal information to conduct market research and to develop new services in order to provide you with a better experience.
  • For legal and security purposes.
    We may use personal information to prevent, detect, investigate, and take measures against criminal activity, fraud, misuse of or damage to our Site or School, and other threats and violations to School's or a third party's rights.

Children Privacy Policy.

YOU SHOULD BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO ACCESS THE SITE.

The School does not knowingly collect or store any personal information from or about children under the age of 13, and we will delete such information if we become aware that it has been submitted through our Site.

Parents or guardians who believe that The School might have any personal information from or about a child under the age of 13 may submit a request to [email protected] for us to remove such information.

Sharing your personal information.

We do not sell or trade Student personal identification information to others.

WIth Students and Other Site Users

Please keep in mind that all of the information that you share or content that you publish in your bio, posts, comments, or other public portions of our Site may becomes public information. Because this information is publicly available, we cannot control how others treat it. We ask you to exercise care in deciding what personal information you choose to share, and refrain from sharing your sensitive personal information and those of others.

With Integrated Services

When you choose to integrate third party services with our Platform, your personal information may be shared with these third parties. We recommend that you read the terms of use and privacy policies of those third party services to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information.

With Your Consent

The Site may send your personal information to a third party when you give us consent to do so or at your direction. For example, this may occur when we complete a transaction at your request.

With Service Providers

We may share personal information with vendors, consultants, payment processors, and other service providers (such as Stripe and Zoom) that provide us with certain services and process personal information on our behalf. These services may include providing customer support, performing business and sales analysis, supporting our Site functionality, facilitating payment processing, and supporting contests, surveys, and other features offered on our Site.

These service providers are not permitted to use your personal information for any other purpose, and their use of such personal information will be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

With Business Partners

We sometimes partner with third parties to offer you events, promotions, contests and other programs. To participate in these offers, you may be required to provide your email address and other personal information. We will only share your email address and other personal information with a business partner when you expressly authorize us to do so.

With Affiliates

We may share personal information with our parent, affiliates, and other companies under common control and ownership, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, we will attempt to give you prior notice before disclosing your information in response to such a request.

You can choose not to provide us with certain personal information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our Site because that information may be required for you to register for an account, purchase Services, enroll in School, participate in our promotional offerings, get customer support, or engage in other activities on our Site.

Please note that in cases where you wish to exercise your data privacy rights with respect to personal information for which the Site is the controller, you’ll need to directly contact the Site to exercise your rights and submit a request to [email protected].

Accessing, Updating, and Deleting Your Personal Information

You can submit a data privacy request to receive a copy of personal information that we hold about you, free of charge.

If you believe that any personal information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will work with you to make corrections deemed necessary. Note that we may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Note that when we delete your account, personal information that you have shared with others (for example, through comments or an intake form) may still be visible. To protect your privacy, we need to verify your identity before we process your data privacy request. As part of this process, we will need to receive the request from you via the email address associated with your account. Depending on the nature of the request, we may also need to obtain additional information necessary for us to verify your identity.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a data privacy request on your behalf. To do so, we will need to receive written permission by you or a valid power of attorney, and we may also verify the validity of the request directly with you.

Please note that opting out of email communications only affects future communications from us. If we have already provided your information to a third party (such as a credit card processing partner) before you changed your preferences or updated your information, you may have to change your preferences directly with that third party.

Do we use ‘cookies’?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Other Information

Information Security

The Site uses a range of physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your personal information. For example, only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions. In addition, we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your personal information. However, no method of data transmission or storage system is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in the event of a breach of any of our security measures.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password to access certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for protecting this password and keeping it confidential. As the safety and security of your information also depends on the precautions you take, we ask you not to share your password with anyone. Data Retention

We save personal information we collect for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is collected and processed. The Site's Services are based in the United States and it stores, processes, and transfers information in and to servers and databases located in the United States. It may also store, process, and transfer information in and to servers in other countries depending on the location of its affiliates and service providers.

If you use our Site or School outside the United States, including in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. For example, transfers involving personal information of Students located outside the United States are necessary for the performance of the contract between the Site and our Students, as established in our Terms of Use. With respect to the processing of information by our service providers on our behalf, we take all necessary steps required under applicable law to ensure that their transfer of information across borders is compliant with applicable law. This may include the use of EU model clauses or ensuring that the recipient is certified under the US-EU Privacy Shield framework.

Third-party disclosure.

No Rights of Third Parties

This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any personal information relating to users of our Site.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include the Site hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our Authors, partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy.

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to periodically check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
